Kept Privacy Policy

The short version. Kept keeps your data on your own devices and your private iCloud. We don’t collect it, we can’t see it, we don’t track you, and we never sell anything. There are no accounts and no Veyago servers.

Kept is built and published by Veyago Inc. This policy explains what Kept does — and doesn’t do — with your information.

The data Kept handles

Everything you add to Kept — items, receipts, documents, photos, prices, notes, and reminders — is stored locally on your device. If you are signed into iCloud, it syncs across your own Apple devices through Apple’s CloudKit using your private iCloud database.

We do not operate servers that receive your content.
We have no access to your items, photos, or documents.
Your data is not shared with us or any third party.

Camera & photos

When you scan a receipt or import a photo, Kept reads the image on your device to extract details. Images and recognized text stay on your device (and your private iCloud, if enabled). They are never uploaded to us.

On-device intelligence (“Ask Kept”)

On supported devices, Kept’s assistant uses Apple’s on-device foundation models. Your questions and item data are processed on your device. Kept does not send your data to Veyago or any external AI service.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled as local notifications on your device. We do not send push notifications from a server.

Purchases

Kept offers a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple. Apple handles payment; we never receive your payment details.

Analytics & tracking

Kept contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs. We do not use the Advertising Identifier and do not track you across apps or websites.

Data retention & deletion

Because your data lives on your devices and your iCloud, you are in control: delete any item in the app, delete the app to remove its local data, or manage iCloud data in Settings → [your name] → iCloud.

Children

Kept is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Your rights

Because Veyago does not collect your personal data through Kept, there is nothing on our side to access, correct, or delete — your content is controlled entirely by you. For data Apple processes, see Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy and will post the revised version here with a new “Last updated” date.
